Title: Maybe this year?
Post by: forklift driver on September 02, 2018, 08:43:12 AM
I will be standing on Front Street tomorrow and hoping we will actually have a LABOR Day celebration. You would think with the steel mill back open and all that maybe the union would show some spunk and have a parade. Heck maybe King Scovile will drive down Front Street with James E Sanderson Jr in the back of his pickup? Something?

While others are busy forgetting the truth and history let me refresh it for you. Union boss James Sanderson and County Clowncil member Ron Charlton tricked council into giving the union taxpayer monies to hold a Labor Day parade about 16 years ago. That was the last Labor Day parade this town has seen. Why? Because after a investigation it was found the money was used inappropriately and James and his union thugs had to pay it back. They should have been punished for the illegal acts but back then the union did actually have some power to make things happen. Not so much now. Mention James and the union and even Ron Charlton laughs at you. HAPPY LABOR DAY JAMES!

Maybe if Sanderson asked Ron Charlatan to pay for that parade out of his pocket we could get a parade? After all Ron paid Sanderson off to not expose those documents.
