« on: July 10, 2006, 09:41:50 PM »
If you can believe The Georgetown Times, the "Workshop" that was held today will be followed tomorrow by:

County Council meeting, with 3rd reading vote on implementing reassessment

Tuesday, July 11, 5:30 p.m.

Main Courtroom, County Courthouse, 2nd floor, 129 Screven Street

Is this scheduling scheme like the "Republicans vote this Tuesday; Democrats vote the next day" shenanigans I've seen in the last few decades (but which has been going on since there have been elections)?

The vote was held and reassessment will occur.

Ron Charlton's "workshop" swayed no one to change their vote, which was 4-3.

Expect your notices soon.

Did you expect anything Ron Charlton did to sway anyone? Give us a break. He has been exposed as a fraud and everyone on council knows it.

Charlton knew it was a waste of time when he proposed it.  Just more opportunity for the Neck folks to think he's an ok guy.
