Knotts will not run. Dems lose again

Looks like the Dems and union members can give up on that one again. No Knotts. Moore can't win.  :P

Knotts decides against bid for governor
SEANNA ADCOX
Associated Press
COLUMBIA, S.C. - State Sen. Jake Knotts said Monday he would not enter the race to become South Carolina's next governor.

Knotts, a West Columbia Republican, had considered entering as an independent against GOP Gov. Mark Sanford and Democrat state Sen. Tommy Moore of Clearwater.

"The reality is that raising the $2 million needed to win is not a realistic possibility with less than four months left until the election," Knotts said.

I voted for Sanford but absolutely will not again.

3 types of new votes in November can possibly
   defeat Sanford..

    ..Knotts votes
    ..Lovelace votes
..Closet Republican votes who will crossover...

Currently the vote numbers are spiking upward
from a 40% number for Moore. Polls are showing
that Moore is and will continue to gain votes from
   the above groups.

...Many Bauer backers are now against Sanford.
Jenny Sanford made a big mistake with her stand
on Campbell and then he lost.

From where did you get those quotes and that 40% number?

I like to make up things too, you know.

   Mr. Aubrey,

I suggest you read the polls plus more than 1 paper
a day.. This type of information is not available in
   the Georgetown Times.

Also, please explain your comment of making up
information. Apparently, you are a "blinded"
republican who can't see the trees for the forest.
By the way, I understand because I used to be one..

I further suggest that you open your eyes.. This Moore/Sanford
race will be closer than you think.. Many republicans
will be supporting Moore as indicated above.

Enough said for the moment..New York money will not
totally control this election because of the Sanford record
and how he and his wife conduct themselves..

Just remember...Not just the wealthy are allowed to
vote in the election as Sanford would have it..But all
SC individuals (black , white and other) are free to vote.

I see that someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.  Your name calling and assumptions did nothing but highlight your failure to attribute your ridiculously vague poll data to a credible news source.  When you don't tell the readers / posters where you get your information, I (and others) have no choice but to dismiss it.  The election "will be closer than I think"?  How the hell do you know what I think?

FYI, I read three or more newspapers daily (none of them from Georgetown), watch news updates on the tele, and read internet updates all day long.  That is, of course, when I'm not doing crosswords, sudokus, and cryptoquotes.

If you need help learning how to provide links to news sources, I strongly recommend the "?help" tab at the top center of the page.
