It took a Supreme Court case ruling against "slush funds" to stop the practice that is still done on a regular basis here.

Why did the SC not do a determinate ruling on the state statute?? They have on other issues before them. At least Columbia realized it was in the wrong and did the right thing. Unlike, hmmmm now who else could be doing this same thing?, hmmmmmm, now who could it be? Perhaps the City of Georgetown?
