Alan Walters has run for sheriff three times. Alan Walters has been trounced three times. Alan Walters is asking people to give him money to file for the special election for sheriff. Alan Walters is going be beat like a drum by Carter Weaver if he actually does run for sheriff again.

This is Georgetown so we have to remind certain people of the truth and recent history because they are always trying to rewrite history here. Or is it they are just trying to forget the past when it hurts them? Anyway Scott Harper is now reporting Alan Walters is not going to run for sheriff again. (don't forget Scott never reads this site). So Alan is saying he loves his job and that ship has sailed a long time ago. But wait just three years ago Alan was still running for house seat 108 while he had his current job. You just can't make this stuff up. And you just cannot let people like Alan Walters lie and get away with it.

Another person who has run for the office previously is Alan Walters, a former deputy who was later an investigator with the Georgetown Police Department. He says he is not going to seek the seat.
He is now head of Safety and Risk Management for the Georgetown County School District and says he loves his job.
“That ship has sailed a long time ago,” Walters said about his days of running for sheriff.
The filing period for anyone wanting to run for the seat begins at noon Oct. 4 and ends at noon Oct. 12.
The filing fee is $465.92.

$465 dollars? Allen was unable to scrounge up $465 dollars to run even. Talk about no support. Kind of makes you feel sorry for Allen.
