The legacy of Jack Scovile and the city
« on: January 07, 2020, 10:36:39 AM »
Well it 2020 and I wanted to start a new topic on the legacy of Jack Scovile's reign as Mayor.

The two biggest things I think Jack will be known for is the big hole on Front Street from the fire and a empty city hall.

That fire was many years ago and Jack was unable to get that entire block rebuilt after the fire. That big hole on Front Street will be a constant reminder of how ineffective Jack's leadership was.

The other thing Jack will have for a legacy is the drainage project and a falling down city hall. Jack was in charge of the drainage project that led to sink holes and the eventual closing of City Hall.

Jack's legacy is one of failure.

Anyone else have thoughts?
