Remember when Ron Charlton got in a fight with the guy he hired to run his system and the guy shut down Southern Cable down. The 911 system in Georgetown was down for days while Ron brought in another group to get his cable system back on line. Those were fun times. Thank the lord Ron Charlton is out of business now. Heck has anyone seen him since he got beat running for county council?
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Georgetown County Central Dispatch is experiencing temporary difficulty in connecting to some 911 calls.
Anyone who cannot connect to a telecommunicator after dialing 911 should call 843-527-6763.
The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office will post a notice when the system has been completely restored.
