After being hacked twice, once by some Turkish bozo and then by a Russian devil, we are now being forced to move to a new software environment.

Things should be much more secure using this software.  The old software was full of bugs.

Look around and find the "New Topic" button on the far right side of the screen.

Things should be pretty much like they were before.  I'll do everything I can to make the old posts available for historical purposes.

Anonymous posts should still be allowed.  You'll need to make up a name when you post.  Please don't try to guess the identity of those that wish to remain anonymous.

Many thanks,

Marty Tennant

I'm new to Georgetown and thought I'd give this a try.  I look forward to spirited and informed discussion.

A close friend who posted frequently on the old Citizens' Report told me about it.

I really do like the new software.  There are so many more choices than before.  Please tell me the significance of the little star below my name.  I feel kind of jealous when Marty has all those big, red stars and all I get is one little, yellow one.

Keep posting and you will get more, plus a better rank.

The software is nicer.  Still looking for that spelling checker.

Would you like to be a board moderator?  Then you could clean up garbage.  What fun.

Sorry, I've got the spell checker turned on but it isn't working.  The documentation says it doesn't work on all servers.  Guess that means the ones at hugehost.net.
