Lets Get Real
« on: November 08, 2006, 03:37:59 PM »
James Scandleson and his union croonies act like they have so much power but we saw yesterday they have NONE. Yes, the Dems did great in other places. Enough to regain power of the House and possibly the Senate but James and his Kool-Aid drinkers habe NO influence outside our little neck of the woods, so they had nothing to do with what happened nationally.
Lets look at the area where they do live. The Republican, gal O'Connell, won county council. The union supported Chandler. The union backed Tommy Moore. He lost. One of te men they suported for school board lost. Henry Brown won. The union was against him.
This proves they have no influence and James is a has-been who now (the few minutes a day hie is not typing on this board) plays footsie with the company management!

The USW is powerful.  Ask Daniel Thorne.  James Sanderson could care less what you or anyone else thinks.  The union power reaches far beyond Georgetown County and this State.  Mr. Sanderson has more influence than you will ever imagine.  The union won and you lost.  Bottom Line.

Nothing happens here in Georgetown if it isn't approved by the Steelworkers.

i agree. The local vote yesterday was a referendum on the power of the union and we have lerned that with the electing of glen and others, they have no power.

Well, they got Vida back in power.  Oh, nevermind, she's a DINO, democrat in name only.  She fooled her middle class and below base that she gives a hoot about them.  She doesn't.  They are the ones drinking the kool-aid.

Mr. Sanderson has more influence than you will ever imagine.
Name - and show documentation - of ONE THING James has done of any significance outside of Georgetown. He doesn't do anything for Georgetown, much less anywhere else.
Oh yeah, one other thing. I was told by a high up in the union that the so-called Sanderson award was made up. It does not exist.

The best thing about James Sanderson is that he has to sit alone and realize he is nothing. He had to make up an award for himself because no one will give him one even. Hey James you know its true.

Let's get real and spell right for a change. This state produces
some good ones who love those repuberties and can't even get
out of their own chair much less their woods. The support for real
candidates of change begin with Local 7898. Even though the sour
saps may have beat us, we still hold our heads high. High enough
to say we let there be know the voice of change in us.

As far as national influence the union here has, let me be the first
to tell you what I did through local 7898. With no money, a computer
at home, a phone and snail mail, you can get a lot accomplished.

Care to read the truth?

Chet Edwards of Texas won overwhelmingly and I personally blogged
for him on his Web site. Showing the force of organized labor all the way
from S.C. can help Texas is a big step, huh? Vets for Chet, Republicans
for Chet, etc. is all over the union hall here in Georgetown. Wonder how
that got here.

U.S. House - District 17 | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Chet Edwards (DEM)* 93,198 58%
Van Taylor (REP) 64,617 40%
100% of precincts reporting

Bill Nelson of Florida handed a beatdown to that gimmick Elizabeth Harris.
Nelson even wrote a couple of letters to James personally to thank him for
his support "up the road."

U.S. Senate  |  EXIT POLLS | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Bill Nelson (DEM)* 2,845,111 60%
Katherine Harris (REP) 1,797,709 38%
100% of precincts reporting

Marion Berry of Arkansas was very happy to send signs, stickers, and
material to a state and county he wasn't even running in. I blogged
for him as well.

U.S. House - District 1 | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Marion Berry (DEM)* 122,048 69%
Stubby Stumbaugh (REP) 54,526 31%
99% of precincts reporting

In Illinois, we were one for two. Danny Stover lost. Enough said. He gave
his best and I did as well, but it wasn't enough.

U.S. House - District 19 | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
John Shimkus (REP)* 142,603 61%
Danny Stover (DEM) 92,503 39%
100% of precincts reporting

On the other hand, Jesse Jackson, Jr. didn't even burp to beat his
opponent. It was nice to receive material from him as well to post on
message boards in that state.

U.S. House - District 2 | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Jesse Jackson, Jr. (DEM)* 132,810 85%
Robert Belin (REP) 18,193 12%
93% of precincts reporting

We move to Pennsylvania, a union's playground, and helped Bob Casey
defeat swine Santorum. Talk about crying, they are the ones that needed
towels last night.

U.S. Senate  |  EXIT POLLS | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Bob Casey (DEM) 2,342,315 59%
Rick Santorum (REP)* 1,651,549 41%
99% of precincts reporting

And lastly, Swann should have stuck with calling football. Enough
said.

Governor  |  EXIT POLLS | COUNTY RESULTS
Candidate Votes % of votes
Ed Rendell (DEM)* 2,415,572 60%
Lynn Swann (REP) 1,593,277 40%
99% of precincts reporting

So, yes the state elections were souring and down-right awful,
but it WAS NOT A SURPRISE. Let me make sure you realize that,
critics. We were not surprised.

We were hopeful. Our hopes dashed, but groundwork was laid.

Nationally, you idiots have no room to even... well, work in, do you?

 :D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D

By the way, the door is open, the cell phone is on, the phone number
is in the book. The award is on his desk at the union hall, and the plaque
is on the wall. Look through the window if the door is locked, but please...

QUIT LYING TO YOURSELVES YOU JEALOUS IDIOTS.

Yea, I'm jealous of a little insignificant union thug from Georgetown, SC who "blogged" for some dummycrat candidates out of SC. And Santa Claus will be sitting in the union hall tomorrow. James get a grip on yourself and get back on your meds. Wonder how the steel mill stock holders and leaders would feel if they knew how much time you spent "blogging" for dummycrat candidates?

Umm, there are members of this union, and I strongly believe that I
am one of them. My name is not James, kinda rhymes with Ron and
wish to tell you again you are an idiot. We all laugh at your stupid
posts because I make copies of them and take them to the hall for
us to read at meetings. Thanks for the comic relief.

Two state-wide races I fogot to mention I took part in. Sorry for
not mentioning them.

St. George Representative George Bailey lost to Democrat Patsy Knight. Knight won by only 190 votes out of almost 9,500 votes cast. Bailey has been in the House since 2003.

Democratic Charleston County Council Chairman Leon Stavrinakis defeated Suzanne Piper for the seat vacated by outspoken Republican Representative John Graham Altman.

You just proved only the ignorant are in the union. The two races you mentioned are not "state-wide". They are House districts. Hey the state wide races were all won by republicans except for the secretary of education which has not be declared because less than 70 votes separate the two leading candidates.

Hey when you read this post to your "millions and millions" of union members tell James I said he sucks!

Amen Rock. My dad is a steelworker and he tells me the workers are turning against James because he does nothing for the workers. He is only there to massage the management and play on his computer all day. He does leave at noon everyday to walk around east aby park then its back to his cozy office where he kisses the as*es of the management all afternoon.

To the overpaid actor, fake wrestler - They are state-wide races
when Local 7898 gets involved in them. This union runs statewide.
Our support is strong. And yes, those house districts we can't vote in,
but we sure as hell can benefit from their votes on issues concerning us.

And to your No.1 Fan - If he was a real steelworker, he'd quit whining
about someone NOT taking care of him, and take care of himself.
He's not your daddy, daddy!

Not taking care of them???  :o :o :o

I am outraged that some steelworker is BACK in that plant would
say such a thing. If it wasn't for James, that doof wouldn't have his
job back.

Tough crap if you have to do more work with less people. Learn
more on the job to stay competitive in this world.

That's the world of today, people. The old just don't get it, I guess.
A passing of torch is ensuing, and you "steelworkers" want to
complain?

I'll tell you what. Let me be your boss for a day, fire you and take
your benefits away because I don't like you.

Who will "take" care of you then...

One call, that's all = WELFARE.

jsiaf,

Is that the best you can do? Come on. I know with the South
Carolina education you have... wait a minute.

I'm sorry. That IS the best you can do. Whino.

I am sorry. I am so sorry to inform you of some tragic news.

The days of Johnnie Cochran are OVER. Either work or your
butt is gone. No more short cuts, no more buddy-buddy systems.

We work at Mittal Steel on our on merit, not someone else's.
We learn to speak up for safety over production. We look out
for each other.

The OLD days are OVER. Your sour-pout attitude towards work
will NOT be tolerated or protected by our great union president.

Keep whining. I guess the safety training we go through to
produce quality steel does not work with your 3-hour lunch breaks.

I guess making sure the mill is safe to work in doesn't apply to the
break room you sleep in.

Mittal Steel Georgetown has the only non-union members in the U.S.
That's saying something. This state still wants lolly-gag and slack
around.

Please, don't let me forget the complaining. Oh, the humanity.

I want James to help me, I want James to do this, do that.

He ought to buy you a binky so you'd shut the hell up. Or a teddy
to have on your side because no one in that mill agrees with you.

And if they do, it's to your face, not the one that counts.

End of class, today.

WOW!!! Union Activist does it and says it so well. I actually
met him last night. He had his family at the union hall along
with many other people. He proves a point time after time again.

The critics came out in droves to chastize James Sanderson I see.
They whoop and hollar about their S.C. election, like that
bothers him. You people really think he's upset???

He's no "dummycrat," he's a PROUD Democrat. In case you
haven't heard, WE WON WHERE IT COUNTED.

This state is a lost cause. The reason being is because of the
people here. The way they voted shows that.

If Egor was a Republican, you dummies would vote him in.

Hell, if Strom Thurmond was frozen in ice (carbonite, etc.), you'd
elect him to be a statue in the Senate term after term after term.

Wait, he was a statue after 20 years or so.

Keep on keeping on Local 7898. The food was great last night,
the people were excited and the party rocked. I enjoyed reporting
on it.

Back to Columbia tonight.
I'll be your distraction... My eyes are looking up at pure sunlight... I cannot live, I can't breath unless you do this
with me...

Now wait just a minute there union boy. Did you forget that after the strike when seniority was supposed to bring members back to work it was exposed that James brought his son back over many senior union workers. After a lot of pressure from the media and this site James had to can his son. So tell us some more lies about no more "buddy-buddy system" and working on "our on merit".

James was caught in a big old lie there now wasn't he. Go ahead don't answer the question and attack away.

We all know the truth.

There are many people in the plant who were brought back
over others with more senority. The TRUTH is the others were
99.9% lazy or failed a drug test, etc.

His son has nothing to do with him and likewise. Is it so much
to ask for factual evidence that's concrete instead of personal
attacks?

If that was a coach's challenge, the play would have been upheld.

Yes boys and girls you too can go to the University of South Carolina, major in journalism, not be able to find a job in your field because of your ultra liberal leanings, and find yourself working at a Steel Mill the rest of your life.

O.K. Jack,

I just called him. He's been laid off once. That, my friend,
was from the plant closing, not a strike. He went to work
elsewhere then came back. He's still there.

I love this. It was that easy. Just one phone call.

Hell, I guess you could do that, but ya just too scared.

Maybe that award will hit you in the face and allow you some
nerve as well. I've seen the award. I was there this morning.

To knock someone for having an education, of which you probably don't, and working
to provide for a family is an insult to all people going to college for an education.

Please, for just one minute, realize what you said makes the most embarrassing sense
known to man.

You can't take a person's education away, only a job. And when a person has such
an education, the job field opens a little bit wider, agree?

So shut up. Millions of Americans work jobs they don't like or don't want to be at
or didn't plan on, but when people depend on that person to take care of them,
they do what's right.

Its almost too funny that James would support Chandler.

Chander was with the league of woman voters  back in the 1990's putting pressure on the mill,  even though the mill operated within all EPA requirements.  They would have loved to close down the Mill, There were numeous public hearings, etc.

James' would support the devil as long as he claimed to be a democrat.

Is it "true christians" that assualted non-union people that crossed the picket line to work and feed their families? The list can go on but you get the idea. Come on now.  You upset because a democrat uses the word christian.  Republican cults are being outted for their fake christianity.  Rev. Jeff Haggard was what?  How many followers did he have?  The followers didn't realize he was a queer?  Give me a break.  These people have their binders on and refuse to acknowledge the truth.  The truth will set you free.  The anti-christ is going to be in heaven when he comes back to earth and resides in the South.  Give me the union  kool-aid anyday.  Thank god for the unions.  Thjat's the only organazation that's helping the people.
