If you are new to this site, you may ask, why is it here? It exists because in my opinion, our local news outlets do not go far enough in reporting the news. They are short staffed, time constrained, and always under the gun to produce something to print FAST!
This leads to lack of context, omissions and less than the full story.
We don't have this problem, because we rely on many citizen reporters to bring us the news and to comment on it.
